WOODVILLE, WI – The classic Country sounds of Alan Godage
and his Sundown band are coming back to Woodville by popular demand on
Saturday, November 19, 2011 so mark your calendar now and be sure to get down
to the Wildwood Bar and Grill for another great night of dancing and good
listening.

You surely won’t want to miss the return engagement of
veteran singer, songwriter and the acoustic guitarist Alan Godage on his sweet
sounding D-41 Martin guitar and his awesome Country band Sundown. It has been
said that Godage is a maverick in the Classic Country Music World.

His rich voice has brought thousands of new fans to Classic
Country Music from every corner of the world.
Alan Godage is known for his clear diction and rhythmic delivery that
combined with his naturally deep, resonant voice makes him a singing sensation.
Godage is a mellow, romantic, smooth singer who pronounces his words so you can
understand them. He knows how to make every word mean something. Godage has a
lot of heart and puts that feeling into his songs. This musician has the
ability to find feelings in the words, put him self in that position and then
relay that to his Classic Country Listeners. Godage has avoided stereotypes in
this business.

So what makes Godage different? Well, when he sings the hair
on the back of your neck will stand up, you get goose bumps and he gives you
shivers up and down your spine. In other words you don’t just hear the music
you FEEL it. Godage and Sundown love what they do and it shows.  Alan Godage works very hard to make the other
band members successful along with him.
He is a very talented vocalist, entertainer and professional who works
harder than most people at his craft. He is a perfectionist and you will
appreciate it when you hear him and Sundown as they carry you away on the dance
floor or in your seat!

A number of things set Alan Godage & Sundown apart from
a lot of other bands that are out there. They specialize in music from such
Country legends as Charley Pride, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Conway Twitty,
and Hank Williams Sr. to name a few.
This band is very versatile and can play a variety of styles. They do a
great job on country rock, fifties, gospel and even a little old time. Godage
and Sundown do not work from a ”set list” they prefer to be spontaneous. They
are always happy to play requests and are well equipped to keep any crowd
satisfied. The band has a loyal following, seeing many of the same people each
time they perform. No two shows are “EVER ALIKE”.

The Sundown band consists of Dan Gadacz on drums and back up
vocals. He is also Alan’s youngest son. Dan started drumming on the pots and
pans at age 2. Kenny Huston is the steel guitar player, soloist, and back up
singer for the Sundown band. Huston started playing when he was 10 years old,
his first instrument was the Dobro. He also plays lead and bass guitar but his
first love is the steel guitar. Rick Jenkins is the Lead guitar player for the
band. Jenkins started playing with his Dad early on.  He was playing chords on the ukulele starting
about age 3. Rick says, “really I have pictures to prove it.” Greg Gonsior is
the bass player, soloist and back up singer in Sundown. Gonsior started playing
guitar when he was 13. And last, but not least is Melody Lane who sings part time with
Sundown. The youngest of Alan’s 5 kids, she grew up listening to Classic
Country Music and credits Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, and Patty Loveless as being
some of her influences. She has been singing since she was five. She’s outgoing
and loves to dance. Backing up this whole crew of talented Classic Country
musicians is their manager and booking agent Barb Gadacz.  She is the biggest supporter and promoter of
Alan Godage & Sundown. She does everything from answering the phone to
signing the contracts. It’s Barb who gets the credit for the band sounding as
good as they do. She knows how Alan Godage & Sundown should sound and she
never settles for less than the best. Her band is always willing to give her
what she knows is the best they have to give for their audiences. The odds are
pretty good that before the show is over Barb will have greeted every person in
the room. She loves her job and Alan Godage the Sundown band and knows you will
too!

Alan
Godage & Sundown to play good ole Classic Country Saturday

Submitted
by Barb Gadacz, Manager of Alan Godage & Sundown

WOODVILLE,
WI – Alan Godage & Sundown are making their way back to the Wildwood Bar
& Grill in Woodville, Wisconsin this Saturday night, and you are going to
want to grab your guy or gal and head to the Wildwood Bar and Grill for some
good country dancing and listening.

Alan
Godage & Sundown is a five piece Classic Country Band hailing from central
Minnesota. Their sound is reminiscent of Charlie Pride, George Jones, with a
healthy dose of honky-tonk rhythms of Johnny Cash thrown in for good measure.
Their simple, yet beat-based songs have attracted an enthusiastic audience to
date.

Alan Godage (lead vocals and rhythm guitar),
Dan Gadacz, (drummer and backup vocals), Greg Gonsior (bass, lead and backup
vocals), and Kenny Huston (steel and back up vocal) Rick Jenkins (Lead guitar)
and vocalist Melody Lane make up this band. If you haven’t had the pleasure of
catching this great Classic Country band you’ll get the chance this Saturday
night, November 19, 2011 at the Wildwood Bar & Grill in Woodville, from
8:00 p.m. to-12:00 a.m. The music will be hot and the beverages cold to
quench your thirst after all the two-steppin’ you’ll be doin’.

“I personally invite you out to see and hear this great
Classic Country band. I think you are truly going to be disappointed if you
miss Alan Godage
& Sundown at the Wildwood on Saturday, if you’re like me and love
good ole Classic Country music,” said Wildwood owner Val Anderson.

Alan
Godage & Sundown do a lot of self promoting of the band by word of mouth
and other means. Basically everyone in the band takes a proactive role in
getting the word out on all of their future shows and gigs. Word of mouth
includes telling their family, friends, coworkers, and anyone else this band
knows that may be interested in this bands genre of music. It’s surprising
how many bar stools you can fill simply by word of mouth through family and
friends, and once the word gets out, the place really starts to fill up
for a good time on a Saturday night.

Alan
Godage & Sundown also have a website www.alangodage.com, where they can be
heard on the website, they can be contacted by email, they have numbers where
they can be reached and actually talk to Barb. They have business cards
available at every venue. They have updated paper schedules and request sheets
available at all venues. They have CDs, many different color t-shirts, hats and
now sweatshirts for sale. This band will let you take their picture, they will
sign autographs—in other words they are touchable.

This
band has played county fairs, the Minnesota State Fair, clubs, private parties,
and opened for Classic country artists. They are not just your local “wanna be”
garage band but a band that you are proud to know and will not be disappointed
with as a true Country Fan!

It’s
important to look professional when you are on stage performing. It’s
great to have an energetic and appealing presence when up in front of the
crowd. The crowd can feed off of the positive energy as well. There
are many ways to involve the crowd at our shows. If Alan and the band are
playing a popular cover song they can look out into the crowd and see just
about every one singing along with the band. The crowd gets involved by making
requests to the band. It is also helpful when whoever is singing comments
on a birthday or anniversary in the audience or makes notice of a holiday in
between songs or introduces certain songs to the audience.

Every
show is fun and the music is great for dancing. You will never see Alan Godage
& Sundown fighting, yelling or foul language on their stage; they all agree
it is completely unprofessional and takes away from everyone having a good
night out. Give yourself a Classic Country music experience and come see this band;
test them on your song requests.  Take a
chance; bring your partner and your dancing shoes. You won’t be sorry when you
let Alan Godage and Sundown’s music carry you away this Saturday night in
Woodville at the Wildwood Bar and Grill. We’re looking forward to meeting you there!
